This man could be defined by the easy disarming quality of his smile and the sparkle in his pale blue eyes. Or by the red-sheathed katana that hangs on his right hip, it's matching tanto on the left - both look well worn. But it might be the title, "Father," that fits him the least and yet defines him the best. A cleric of the One God, Gian is not what you might expect from a earthly messanger of heaven. A sauve and easygoing man, his twenty-eight years have been spent in pursuit of knowledge and faith - often breaking the rules of the church in order to do so. Indeed, he’s a man who breaks many rules. He's a natural fighter; his hands are deadly with or without his swords, but he's slow to anger. A student of the medical arts, Gian is practiced in many forms of healing: magical, herbal and otherwise. Physically, the Priest is somewhat imposing, if in height rather than bulk. Standing at 6’5”, his body is mostly lean muscle. Long black hair touches the small of his back and a goatee frames thin lips. Three parellel scars run down from his left ear across the cheek. He has two tattoos - a small cruciform sits in the outer webbing between the index finger and thumb of his left hand and a circle adorns the side of his neck. He shares this latter mark with his little brother, Drisan. And a servant of God is not on salary, so Gian sees that ends meet by picking up bounties - although not so much anymore since his last bounty ended up costing him more money than was on her head; engagement bands don’t come cheap. And so it is that this Priest is to be married, outside of his Church but, he feels, with the blessing of his God. Not wanting to give up Samantha Maverick or the spot within the Church that he has earned he has chosen to go his own way and forge a new road. Perhaps after all, that is what defines this man the best.
